Product Description

Summary
OBJECTIVES
The main aim of the project is to produce some key components of a system for Paradise Prep School.
In order to fulfil this aim the objectives that I intend to be reach are:
• Research the methodologies, web development options and database management systems
that will be suitable for building the type of system required by Paradise Prep School.
• Design and implement a database that will meet the requirements of Paradise Prep School.
• Design and implement a web interface for the database.
• Allow easy navigation around the system.
WHAT THE PROJECT ACHIEVED
A system was built that allows the storage of student information. The information can be collected
through the use of several forms. These forms can then be later used to edit or view the information.
The system also allows the recording of daily attendance of students with their arrival and departure
times. As well as the forms for recording student information there are forms that allow records to be
inserted, updated or deleted from the staff, people and address tables in the database. The system also
allows important and regularly used files to be uploaded to the site so that they can be downloaded
later when they are needed.
